We can’t get enough HALLOWEEN around here!
We are in for a treat today! AmberLee is here from one of my ALL time FAVORITE blogs (Giver’s Log) to share a fun Halloween idea with us!

Hello HowDoesShe readers! I am very excited to be popping in today to share some Halloween fun. My name is AmberLee and I blog right here, and as of last January, I own a chocolate shop called the Ticket Kitchen with my Sister-in-law, where we offer Hot Chocolate on a Stick.
I am here today to share a very fun and simple Halloween centerpiece we put together to host our own hot chocolate bar this year. A gourmet hot chocolate bar is a great way to have some grown-up fun on Halloween, once the kids are in bed and you get tired of stealing Tootsie Rolls from their Halloween stash.
This centerpiece couldn’t be simpler. Which is good for me on Halloween because I have usually agreed to make some kind of costume for one of my kids that is way over my head. So everything else has to be easy.
I began with a glass bowl and filled it up with, what else, candy corn! I am all about thrifting and have found a lot of fun glass mugs, bowls, and vases to try this with. I’d love to line up a table full of different shapes and sizes of glass containers all full of Halloween treats.
Once the bowl or vase is filled up, simply lay a few pieces of cardstock on top like a lid, flip it onto your table, and slide out the cardstock.
Now the only thing left to do is add a platter on top for resting your treats on. I often like to just mix and match glass and bright melamine bowls and plates together for pretty displays. I like to add a few well placed scrap-booking glue dots to make sure the plate isn’t going anywhere, but old fashioned masking tape works too.
If you’d like to make a few pumpkin tags of your own, you’re in luck. We are offering the pumpkin tags as a free printable on our Hot Chocolate party idea page. Just click right here and these sweet little pumpkins are yours!
Now that you’ve seen how simple this is, I hope I have you thinking. You have so many options, a bowl full of spider rings, or even a stack of mini pumpkins and moss would be perfect.
Good luck, and let me know how it goes! And if you are in need of something delicious to put on your new treat tray, we are have a big preorder sale going on in our hot chocolate shop. Preorder your Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, your Vanilla Mint Hot Chocolate, or your Belgian Milk Hot Chocolate and get a steal! And we’ll have it on your doorstep in time for the big 31 of Oct.

I was in Seattle recently and had THE BEST hot chocolate right across from Pike’s Place Market. It tasted A LOT like the Ticket Kitchen’s hot chocolate. Smooth, rich, creamy…DEVINE. You will LOVE it! This stuff is the real deal. I can not wait to try the new flavors. Salted Caramel? Yes. Please.
It is so fun on a stick. I love swirling it and waiting for it to melt, and sometimes not waiting and licking some right off the stick all melty and delicious. I need some. Now.
Also, do yourself a favor, and stop by her blog. You will come away LOADED with creative gift ideas. It is a must stop for the upcoming holidays.
Ice Cream Sundae Pinata?
So clever.
Thanks for stopping by, AmberLee!

Love that clever centerpiece! It suggests so many possibilities for other holidays, too. Hot tamales or red hots for Christmas or Valentines Day. . .
