Learn how to make an easy Halloween treat that is a crowd favorite, and comes together in minutes!
I love October because it is the gateway to all my favorite holidays. I love the decorations. I love the smells. I love the excitement of it all. What I can do without is all the stress.
It seems as though every time I turn around there’s something that requires my time and energy and more times than not it requires me to bring a treat. Class parties, neighborhood potlucks, family get-togethers, the list could go on and on. I wish I was Martha Stewart and could whip out festive treats at a moments notice because my kids absolutely love it – but I’m more realistic than that. There’s a fine line between fun mom and crazy busy mom!
This easy Halloween treat will please the kids and not cause you to pull your hair out!
Start with a box of brownie mix and a tube of frosting. If you’ve got the time, go ahead and make the brownies from scratch. If you don’t even have time to make brownies from scratch, make some box brownies. And if you don’t have time for box brownies, march yourself into Sam’s club and buy their Pillsbury sheet brownies and call it good.
Using the tube of frosting, draw straight lines that intersect with one another.
Starting in the middle, draw a web from one line to the next and it will gradually get larger and larger.
Draw a spider at the end of your web and your Halloween magic is done! Be the festive mom without all the stress!
