Happy Saturday, friends! I hope you’ve got exciting plans ahead this weekend! Me? I’ll be washing tiny clothes and organizing everything in sight. Yep, nesting is in full force here! We’re a couple of short weeks away from meeting our third bundle of joy and I’ve got all things BABY on the brain. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a total dork when it comes to baby gear. When I find something I love, I want to share it with everyone I know. See where I’m going with this? I’ve rounded up my current list of favorites to share with you! Whether you’re a momma-to-be, or a grandma, aunt, or friend that’s looking for a baby gift…I’ve got you covered!
1. Ju-Ju-Be ‘Be Right Back’ Backpack
Did you know it was possible to fall in LOVE with a diaper bag? Neither did I…until now! This beauty not only allows you to be hands-free (which is HUGE) but it’s also full of pockets and compartments that keep things organized and easy to find. This is not a black hole like other bags I’ve had! I also love that it’s made of teflon and can simply be wiped clean. Because: germs. I expect to be using this bag even after my kids are out of diapers!
2. Bandana Bibs
Bibs are a baby necessity–so why shouldn’t they be CUTE too?? This bandana style is my favorite and the patterns are just darling. Plus at this price point they make a perfect gift!
3. Dock A Tot
Is it just me or does this picture make you want an adult-sized Dock A Tot to snuggle up in?!? That baby looks so peaceful! Okay, so this little lounger may be the one thing I am MOST excited to use with our new babe. It’s meant to mimic the coziness of the womb and can be used for rest, play, tummy time and co-sleeping. It’s also light and portable, so I expect it to get moved all over the house (and to Grandma’s house) as we need it. I’ve heard rave reviews and can’t wait to try this thing out!
I’m a sucker for a pretty vintage print, so when I came across this sweet hat and swaddle set for less than $13 (yep, you read that right), I figured it was worth a try. When it arrived, I couldn’t believe the quality! The colors are bright and the fabric is super soft, which make it look like some of the more expensive brands out there. This is now my go-to gift for new moms! PS: check out the donut print!
5. Binxy Baby Shopping Cart Hammock
Every mom knows how hard it is to grocery shop with a baby, simply because they take up so much room! By the time you put a car seat in the shopping cart, you’ve got only enough space left for a half gallon of milk and a box of Cheez-its. Am I right?!? Well with the Binxy Baby, you can place the baby directly in the hammock or securely strap the carseat itself in so that you have all of that free space underneath your baby. Bonus: it rolls right up and fits in your diaper bag when you’re done shopping. Genius!!!
6. Car Seat Canopy and Nursing Cover
Car seat canopies are not a new thing, but this style is–and it’s awesome! It fits snugly around the carrier so you don’t have to worry about everything flying up in the wind the second you walk outside. Oh and did I mention it also serves as a nursing cover, a high-chair cover, a shopping cart cover AND an infinity scarf? Now if that’s not multi-functionality, I don’t know what is!
7. ‘My Brest Friend’ Nursing Pillow
This is the one baby product that I tell every new mom about. It was a total nursing game-changer for me, and I’ve heard so many others who say the same thing. It buckles around your waist and provides amazing back-support, which is so important when you’re spending hours on end in the same position. I’m so attached that I even take it on trips! Trust me when I say this is the one and ONLY nursing pillow you need!
This might seem a little random, but this toy is EVERYTHING. I’ve never known a baby or toddler that didn’t adore this thing, and I can’t tell you how many times it has saved the day for me in a restaurant or waiting room! At $7 a piece, I recommend buying one for your house, your car, AND your diaper bag. You can thank me later 😉
See, I told you I was a dork when it comes to baby gear! I’d love to hear what your favorites are too! Any tried and true products that I have to try with baby #3? Do share!
