Yes. These lashes are mine.
No messy glue or hours spent with my eyes shut while extensions are applied.
My secret?
Don’t get me wrong- I am still a believer in falsies and extensions as being a great option…remember my post on Three different ways to beautify your lashes? However, out of nowhere I had an intense allergic reaction to the glue used on my extensions and had no choice but to say goodbye to my full and gorgeous lashes (tear drop.) As you can imagine, the damage from having to rip them out left nothing but sad little eyelash stumps. Not even a good coat of mascara would save these babies. They needed to enter into serious rehab.
Luckily, Shelley introduced me to just the thing- Lilash.
All I had to do is apply with a quick swipe on my lash line every night for 6-10 weeks.
…and then in about 9 weeks…magic happened. I woke up and noticed my stubbles were actually hitting the top of my eyelids!
They were back!!!!!
These photos below are my eyelashes plane jane- no makeup or mascara used….
Amazing right?
Wait until I slap on a coat of mascara… I couldn’t believe my eyes!
My lashes were back!
Now I added a little night time eyeshadow- try Darlene’s Smokey eye – for a dramatic Christmas party look.
Lilash has saved my lashes and I am a believer.
But you don’t have to take my word for it.
Ask these ladies Lara and Alison. And I must say, they already have been blessed with such beautiful eyes! Check out what happens with their lashes and what they have to say about it.

“This is my experience (Lara): By week ten I started seeing results, mostly in the form of a TON of new lashes growing in, especially on the outer corners of my eyes. My eyelashes have always been really short on the out corners and apparently I was missing a lot of lashes there too. By 11-12 weeks hey were long and getting REALLY thick. The outer corner lashes are now the longest of all my lashes as you can see in the pictures. I used to have eyelashes fall out all the time but now I rarely lose a lash and if I do they are insanely long! Lilash has given me so much self-confidence. I never knew what a difference having naturally long eyelashes made. I have tried falsies and eylash extensions before but they JUST DON’T compare. I also used to have stick straight lashes and would have to heat up my eyelash curler to get them to curl. Not anymore- I haven’t used an eyelash curler since week 10 of using Lilash. I told my husband, I don’t care if I get anything else for Christmas. ALL I want is another tube of Lilash! Oh I almost forgot to mention- I didn’t have any side effects!”
“Okay so this is me talking…Alison. I had stubs. See the before picture. It took about 6 weeks to notice a difference, but it was like they grew over night and I had eyelashes one morning. Pretty cool. So here’s a confession. I had to trim them. Don’t tell Cristi because I’m sure that’s a no-no in beauty school, but they were getting too long for me. What a fabulous problem to have. I only use the product now about once a week. I like having eyelashes, but not spider lashes so it’s nice to be able to keep the about the length I want. This stuff is really cool. The after picture I did use mascara, but note…it wasn’t that much.”
A candid review: It works.
Experience the magic of Lilash.
Amazing right? All I want for Christmas is gorgeous lashes!
LiLash is physician formulated, but requires no perscription. LiLash is a little spendy ($140), but one bottle lasts about 6 months. Not too shabby! After Shelley’s new found lashes, she sent a little “FAN MAIL” to LiLash, to see if we could get an exclusive discount for our readers. They delivered. LiLash is offering 10% off, plus free shipping using code: HOWDOESSHE. Best part, they have a 90 day money back guarantee. I love that it’s RISK free. If you aren’t satisfied with your lashes, get your money back. If you decide to Experience the magic of LiLash, I want to see some before and afters!

Sorry, but sometimes I think there’s such a thing as lashes being “too long”. Am I crazy?! 🙂
Alison says
Totally agree! That is why I cut mine and just use it once a week;) It’s nice to decide how long you want them.

Gorgeous! Question, how often are you buying LiLash now that you have the length you desire?
Now, I am wondering about LiBrow. My eyebrows have always been sparse right where the brow begins.
Thanks for sharing the pics.
Shelley says
My lashes are the length I like them and I buy it about once every 7-8 months. I use it about 1-2 a week. 🙂
I’ve never used LiBrow, but I’ve heard great things about it.

I am ordering more with that promo code!!! YAY! Soooo.. what kind of mascara do you use now that your eyelashes are insanely long? I used to be able to get away with just about anything, but now I feel like it clumps and doesn’t go on as smooth with long eyelashes!
Shelley says
my favorite mascara is “voluminous” I think it’s by loreal. I’ve tried spendy brands, but I always go back to this one. 🙂
Cristi Dame says
I have found as long as my mascara is not too old, I wipe off any clumps before hand, and I use a brush to brush them out before it dries- the mascara stays smoothe.
My favorite lately has been Plush Lash Mascara by Mac- but I also have a Mary Kay Ultimate Masscara I keep going back to as well. I do feel like I need to branch out though- I need to try the one Shelley mentioned- sounds awesome!

Do you know if this can change your eye color like other products similar on the market?
Ashley says
I think it looks amazing!! I need this ASAP.

I agree it looks amazing. I too suffer from stubbly eyelashes, but at $140 (or even $120 with the coupon) YIKES! Way too costly for me.

I have always wondered if this really worked….you convinced me. Now to save up some cash to buy it.
Thanks for sharing.

Does this thicken your lashes? Length is not my problem, but my lashes are so super fine, and with age have thinned so that now no matter how much mascara I wear you can’t even tell I have lashes. The price is very prohibitive for me, but if it would thicken my lashes back up I might just have to give up food or something and try it out!! lol

What about what’s in it? Are there chemicals that I don’t want near my eyes? I use only organic facial creams and make-up. I also have problems with allergic reactions, and I wouldn’t want to spend that kind of money to have a problem with it. Long lashes are not worth it if the chemicals in it cause problems.

I just bought and started using my first tube of LiLash a few weeks ago, and I’m already seeing results. I’ve been so excited because I’ve tried many other products for my short, stubby lashes, and they either didn’t work or they irritated my eyes too much for me to continue with them.
Well, about half an hour ago I received an email from the company, stating that they will no longer be selling this in the U.S. I’m so bummed! I’m sure you guys are, too! Do you think there’s anything we could do, like get the word out and maybe have everyone contact them? I wish we could change their minds.

I held out a little, since I live in Canada and shipping is always daunting, and the cost of lilash was prohibitive. I found a product at our local drugstore that is the same concept and it is amazing, too! I appreciate that you enjoy this one, but I am sold on the one that I can actually walk into a store and buy. Thanks for the great idea. My lashes needed help!

Why doesn’t anyone else seem to notice that the before pictures are taken straight on, and the after pictures are taken from above? Has no one heard of parallax? Different angle, different look. I don’t doubt that this stuff works, but why can’t the before and after pictures actually be non deceptive?

I LOVE LiLash and LiBrow. However, they are no longer shipping to the USA. Also I have been “burned” a couple of times ordering on Amazon and getting a “knock off” that doesn’t work. How do I get the genuine product?
