Last week, one of Santa’s helpers sent my little boy an adorable ‘Official Letter to Santa Kit‘. He opened the beautiful package addressed to him with a squeal of delight! Makes me smile thinking about it…Before I knew it, he had a sharpie in hand and was letting Santa know that he was definitely supposed to be on the nice list.
His little scribbles make me smile. I helped him write his very SPECIFIC list, and he signed his adorably sloppy name.
He was so excited to place the addressed sticker to Santa.
He literally RAN in the freezing cold out to the mailbox.
As soon as he went to bed, I sent ‘Santa Claus’ out to the mailbox to retrieve the treasured letter. It now sits in a memory book for years and years to come. This special experience is now a magical Christmas memory of mine.
Many of you have come to know and love chickabug‘s designs. (She is the talent behind all of our free printables).
The Letter to Santa cards are officially registered at the North Pole. You can choose to stamp and mail the letters, or you can keep them as a sweet holiday memento. The high quality cards truly make beautiful keepsakes! They melt my heart…
————————
The ‘Official Letter to Santa Kit’ includes:
————————
– Four 5″x7″ cards, which are professionally printed on extra-heavy 130 pound cardstock with a silk finish.
– Four handmade address labels, pre-addressed to Santa at 1 Reindeer Lane, North Pole.
– Four bright red envelopes.
The address labels are NOT adhered to the envelopes, so your child can enjoy the final step of addressing his or her letter to Santa!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to receive a package in the mail from chickabug, you will melt at the site of this gorgeous package. It’s screams ‘I AM SPECIAL’ the second you grab it from the mailbox. After having this sweet Christmas moment with my little guy, I was so excited to share it with all of you.
Such a magical time of year. I want to hear all the adorable things your children write on their official letter to Santa.

Where does the letter go when it is mailed?
Shelley says
To Santa Claus of course! 😉 I think the post office does have a santa letter, return system? Anyone know for sure on that? I chose to keep mine. —You could write a letter back and post it? 🙂 So so fun.

I recommend taking them to Macy’s to mail – they have specially decorated post office boxes there, and for each letter they collect, they are donating $1 to Make-A-Wish. Here’s a link with info:

These are SO FUN! She does amazing work!
I LOVE looking back over the years of letters about what my kids wanted for Christmas. What I think is funny is that without fail, some sort of sword is always on one of my little guy’s list. Good stuff.
