Where does Santa shop?
If I were Santa (wait, am I?), I would shop at Amazon. I know I have briefly mentioned my love affair with Amazon, but now I am going to tell you WHY?
1. Convenience. No running around all over town with kids who are usually NOT quiet.
2. Price. Convenience is great but you usually have to pay for it…not on Amazon. I almost ALWAYS find what I want for less money.
3. Do I need any other reasons?
4. Okay so I also love how it keeps track of your last purchases making it easy to reorder things, like say, coconut oil.
5. Checkout is a BREEZE. It keeps your credit card info (if you want) and your addresses you ship to on file so when you send a birthday gift to your nephew, you don’t have to find and re-type everything in again. Just a few clicks and you’re done!
Click here to check it out – you can thank me later. I was a HUGE FAN of Amazon before I even started HowDoesShe and would recommend it no matter what, but just so you know, every time you click over there from here, we get a little kickback from whatever you buy – so thanks in advance for helping to support our FREE site!
Amazon is running an awesome promotion right now where moms can get up to a year of free Amazon Prime benefits (free 2-day shipping without a minimum order and overnight shipping for only $3.99/item). We don’t get anything extra for you signing up, that’s just a GREAT DEAL!

They also have a promototion for college students…

I completely agree with you, I love Amazon! I live away from home during term time and I love that with Amazon I can get things delivered home on a specific date so that I can pick a date I’ll be at home to recieve them and hide them from the people they’re meant for!

I was really disappointed when I discovered the free Amazon Prime for Moms/Dads is for parents of babies/toddlers… All our children are preteens/teens which makes for a difficult time shopping as our schedules are full of activities! Trust me when I say it would be nice if this offer had been open to ALL parents regardless of their stage in life!

I too love amazon, am an amazon mom member, and shop there frequently. However, I try to remember that there are also benefits to shopping locally– when price is fairly comparable I try to give my business to our local specialty toy store, for instance, because if I don’t, I realize that store may not always be there. And since I value it in my community, I want to do my part to help it stay there!

I LOVE Amazon, too. I have grand children I buy for and I am always checking prices, before ever making a purchase. What I love is the free shippping with $25 purchase – what a deal. I did find a place to buy hairbows for my grand children, which was a blessing ($3 or less for a hairbows is fantastic). http://www.polkadotposies.com

You can click any of the amazon links in this post, or on our homepage in the top right corner there is a link to our 2010 holiday gift ideas. When you get to our amazon store from this link, you can click to the amazon homepage from there (again in the top right hand corner) or any of the gift ideas should take you there. That should do the trick! Thanks so much!

I also got my daughter a pair as a surprise…saved over $100 on those, too! Santa’s getting a DEAL!!
