Courtney, from Pizzazzerie.com, and I have the same LOVE and ADORATION for this time of year. The sights, the smells, the crispness to the air. I was beyond ecstatic when she agreed to do a guest post for us about decorating your table for a stunning Thanksgiving feast! I know you’ll be amazed by how gorgeous this is. Take it away, Courtney!
Thanksgiving could not be a more warm and cozy time of year filled with apple cider, golden hues, and fabulous food. This year, I wanted to design a little inspiration for those serving Thanksgiving dinner this year! With a few simple tips and tricks, it is easy to set up a wonderful table for family and friends!
Teaming up with talented team at Anders Ruff Custom Designs and Kristen Steele Photography made for easy styling! Anders Ruff has this fun printable set available in their shop so I wanted to give readers an example of how to set up their table with the printables! With everything from wine labels to “I’m thankful for…” cards, this set is perfect for the Thanksgiving holidays.
If you are like me at Thanksgiving, then you just have to have a taste of everything! To-go boxes are definitely a must at Thanksgiving, especially if you have neighbors and friends over to enjoy the treats. Simple to-go boxes with a Happy Thanksgiving tag are perfect for extra pumpkin pie!
Nothing says fall to me like hot apple cider and caramel apples! The Anders Ruff collection includes these darling spiced cider labels that are perfect for wrapping around a cinnamon stick! I love adding orange slices when the cider is simmering! Caramel apples are a fun treat for the kids (and adults). Set up a caramel apple bar with a variety of toppings from nuts and chocolate chips to crushed candy bars and sprinkles!
The craft stores are loaded with glittery leaves and branches this time of year, so I stocked up and put them to use! My mom passed down the party planning genes but not the green thumb, so I designed this table using exclusively glittered branches and leaves so it could be done ahead of time with zero worry of watering. In fact, I already have this table set up on my boyfriend’s parents’ table since I will be visiting family out of town this Thanksgiving. Another tip for making your table fabulous are the placecards – easy as pumpkin pie! Just grab some mini pumpkins and gold spray paint and go to town. I used a knife to carefully slice the stem to insert the place card but a dab of hot glue or even tape would do the trick too.
When Anders Ruff and I were talking about this fun set, we really wanted to incorporate a card where people could write what they were thankful for this year. Whether you include them with crayons at the kids table or have one at each place setting, these make memorable keepsakes from year to year. I hope these ideas and images have given you some inspiration into hosting a beautiful Thanksgiving celebration this year!

Thanksgiving is an American holiday. I incorporate small American flags into my Thanksgiving tablescape; I save them over from the 4th of July.
