Chant it with me, “Bring on Summer! — Bring on Summer! — BRING ON SUMMER!” The days are getting longer, and I’m basically a kid in a candy store. I’ve waited all Winter to hear my kids playing outside, to smell dinner cooking on the outdoor grill, and to feel cool evening breezes during late-night walks. My family has been soaking up every opportunity we have to be outside, and we’ve added a game-changing outdoor furniture piece to our backyard. Meet the SkyBed.
I know,… don’t you just want to jump right on and make yourself comfortable?! I don’t blame you. When the SkyBed Luxury Lounger was released, (just this Spring!), I was anxious to add it to my outdoor living space. It’s the most brilliant combination of a hammock/trampoline/swing/bed. There is simply nothing else like it on the market.  It’s comfortable, big enough that we can pile the whole family on, and easy to clean! Sunbrella fabrics are something to celebrate with FIVE kids running around with cheesy Cheeto fingers.

The materials used to make the Skybed caught my attention. The lounge mat is made of a trampoline-like mat, topped with a thick foam cushion making it super comfy. Even my baby loves being outside on it. On a side note, let’s all take a brief moment to stare at these darling baby legs and elbow dimple.

After adding my own personal touch with colorful pillows, I loved my new Skybed even more.
The very first night we had it in our backyard, my kids begged to sleep on it. Tell me I’m not the only one who has memories of sleeping outside on the trampoline in the backyard?! Such a vivid cherished childhood memory. The SkyBed would take that concept to a whole new level. As much as we enjoy it during the day, my favorite time to sneak out on the SkyBed is after the kids are in bed. My husband and I often wind-down while chatting about our day, our kids, our future plans and dreams…. it’s the perfect setting to reconnect after a busy day.
