In honor of National Anti-Boredom Month we decided to make
‘anti boredom’ kits
Put each ‘kit’ in a brown paper bag and then label them 1-8. Each time a kid is bored they can go grab a bag. Oh, they look so cute and so ‘secretive’ in their brown bags just waiting to cure their ailment! Just wait…I bet you have most of the stuff in your house already.
Just a thought…I think this would make a super fun gift for a mom who just had a baby. Why? For the older kids to be entertained while mom rested. Hey, it would take out some of the guilt for putting the older kids in front of the TV while mom and baby rested!
I tried to make this post simple, so this post will be just the kits with links to the how to’s. So here we go!

Love these ideas! They came at just the right time…we are vacationing with extended family next month with a wide variety of kids and aside from the usual bubbles, playdough, fishing with grandpa, making mud pies in the dirt it would be great to have some additional items to keep the kids busy ;)! Thanks for doing all the legwork for me! Off to get gum & brown bags…!

What cute ideas! Thank you for sharing these at the Weekend Warrior Link Party. I think I might have to make some of these for my daughter and I. 🙂

My mom’s answer to “I’m bored” was always “Here are some chores you can do until you get un-bored.” Worked every time. I guess times change! 🙂

Lots of great ideas that I want to try. It would be helpful to have a picture of the finished popsicle craft like you have for the blueberry muffin recipe.
