My intelliBED Mattress
First off, this is a sponsored post. BUT, I wanted to let you know that I’ve reviewing this after 6 months. I wanted to make sure I loved the product before I shared it. Mattresses are big investments, so I wanted to be 100% sure on this before I shared all about My intelliBED mattress.
I’ve seen these intelliBED mattresses for a few years and wanted to see if it was all it was cracked up to be. I honestly didn’t love it the first 3 months. Now, I don’t want to sleep without it! Read below to see what I think about it now. Spoiler Alert: I LOVE it and so does my super picky husband!
Mattresses. They can make or break ya. When I first got married I bought a mattress out of a storage unit from a guy who didn’t speak English. It was cheap and we decided to go for it. Within 3 months it had ‘tacoed’ and for the next year my back killed me. My husband and I didn’t sleep well either. It was bad news.
Over the years we had the worst luck with mattresses. We did stop buying them from the storage units, but they all had similar results. Sore back, sleepless nights and stiff arms.
The great thing about intelliBED, well one of the great things, is the great back support. So no more mattresses that are going to “taco” for us. It’s built with Intelli-Gel so the cushioning inside is heavenly! I’ve never felt so rejuvenated in the mornings.
When doing my research for a new mattress I found this info about intelliBED on their website. Each of these 4 pillars of healthy sleep are super important to us, so I really wanted to give it a try!
There are four pillars of healthy sleep that you need to consider:
- Alignment – a good mattress will provide the back support needed to keep your spine in proper alignment.
- Comfort – to achieve deep, healing sleep you need a bed that is comfortable so you don’t toss and turn at night.
- Safe, Non-Toxic Materials – Research suggests that off-gassing of toxic fumes can negatively affect your overall health.
- Durable Materials – Many mattresses lose their support and comfort overtime, causing back pain and more tossing and turning at night.
Below is an infographic (also from their website) that will walk you through these fundamentals and provide additional information you need to be aware of before you make a decision on which mattress to purchase for you and your family.
The best way I’ve read to break it in…is to jump on it! So I enlisted some little people.
One thing I couldn’t believe when I read was the toxic materials that other mattresses have sprayed on them. It’s the law for mattresses to be sprayed with a flame retardant. Full of toxins and chemicals. I can’t believe we’ve been sleeping on this junk all these years…makes me happy to know that now when we go to bed at night we aren’t breathing in these toxic chemicals. I mean, look at these darling kids…anything I can do to keep toxins out of our home I’ll do it!
Seriously so comfy. And kid approved.
Oh dang. The secret is out. Mom and dad now have the most comfortable bed in the house. Ha!
I’m super excited – intelliBED is gracious enough to give our readers a fantastic deal! With the promo code HDS you can give this comfy and healthy bed a test drive too!

I am really curious as to why you didn’t like it for the first 3 months. I’m having a difficult time understanding why it is your favorite if you struggled with it for 3 whole months. What was the issue and what changed?

Hi Sherron Thanks for your question. We weren’t 100% convinced it was super special at first. It didn’t really make a noticeable difference for us. They encouraged us to try it a bit longer and ‘break’ it in. . After the 3 months we noticed our backs and shoulders didn’t hurt like they once did. We went on a vacation and both wished we had our mattress. Now we are going on month 5 and my back hasn’t hurt once and my shoulder doesn’t fall asleep. So, I think it just took us longer to break the mattress in. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

3 months!! Wow. That’s a long time, I didn’t love mine the first week but agree I sleep great now and not sure why I even waited so long for a new bed. These beds are an investment and come with a 30 year warranty.

I gotta tell you I contacted Intellibed and was floored to hear the cost of the mattress attached to your code costs $4400. really? I don’t know anyone with a young family that can afford such a luxury! I myself am retired and don’t feel I could justify the cost of that mattress, I would not live long enough to take advantage of the warranty. Lol! It looks like a great mattress it’s just too rich for my budget.
