I just love summer! How has yours been so far??
Mine has been fabulous and not only because of all the fun time spent with family but because I am hitting my fitness goals (8lbs lost!) and feeling great with our Get Fit Challenge! When the How Does She gals were talking about doing a fitness challenge in July- my first thought was- NO WAY- that’s impossible- Summer is crazy! I knew that I would be traveling several weeks in July and it was going to be challenging to keep motivated. But I made the decision to STOP wishing for a leaner and more toned body and actually just GET STARTED even with the chaos that traveling brings. Life is always busy and I’ve come to learn that getting fit is much more about making small daily choices instead of a one time deal. It may be as simple as taking a walk around the neighborhood or doing 15 minutes of crunches before I hop into bed.
Even the busiest people can do this! I have been traveling like crazy this month and for the past 9 days I have been in some remote places and relying on my online gym membership to help me stay on track! Usually, I would consider vacation as a day off from eating healthy and working out. I mean, I had to swing by In and Out at least once while we were in California right? But luckily, I kept the weight off and worked out when and however I could! The best thing I did was pack a secret weapon…
