Tons of St. Patrick’s Day Projects and Ideas!
I know St. Patrick’s Day is one of the low on the todem pole holidays – and really why would you want to celebrate a holiday centered around an all green little leprechaun? ‘Cause it’s FUN! It’s up there with April Fool’s Day…oh the TRIXY (insert Ghollum stare here) TRICKS to be performed!
St. Patrick’s Day Projects #1 – Tricks!
The first tricks I learned were from my Sister-in-Law and centered around green food coloring. You put it in the toilet, in the milk, in the eggs – the TRICKY little guy turns everything green!
Steve Spangler takes this to a new level with his green trick…
It comes out of the faucet GREEN! He uses “true color tablets” screwed into the faucet – genius! I found these on Amazon – I wonder if they are the same thing? I need to add this TRICK to my repertoire!
He tells how to turn other things green as well…
The leprechaun that comes to our house also turns all of our furniture upside down, the TRICKY little elf.
Here is a thread where readers shared their tricks on perpetual preschool – some great ideas like leaving tiny footprints with different mediums (green paint, paper, flour, mud, etc) each day leading up to St. Pat’s Day. The kids have to try and find the prints to see where the Leprechaun had been.
I love the idea to take rainbow colored ribbon tied end to end starting with red and ending in violet and weave it around the house – at the end is a pot of goodies!
If you don’t want to be TRICKY, here are some St. Patrick’s Day Projects that are just FUN…
