Remember those times you’re dragging in the groceries and maybe a kid or two, have your arms loaded down and your heavy door slams shut each time you go in and out? It’s never an easy thing to lug in all your stuff, that’s why I’m excited for this simple trick! Thanks Jared! I can’t wait to try it out!

SO when we come home from the grocery store, we should leave all the grocery bags in the car, while we run into the house, get a thick rubber band and put it around our doorknobs. Then go get our groceries. Sounds like two trips to me. And you could easily just carry half your groceries on each trip so the rubber band is useless.

Love this idea. I live alone with a cat and dog. When I have to make multiple trips to the car to carry in/out loads of items, it is a real problem trying to keep the animals in the house. I usually pull the door to the jam and hope it doesn’t close. And to Sarah below: Hang a rubber band on the door knob. By the way, this is a tip for when you have to go back and forth several times. Not just one trip.
