Sorry but I’m not sending my husband to the site b/c then he’ll know none of my ideas are actually mine…and isn’t dishonesty the key to a happy marriage?
I am SO making this for him for Christmas. I have been pretending I was going to make him a scrapbook for the last 5 years but alas, it has yet to be started. This will be perfect, thank you for sharing!

Okay, is it just ME or is anyone else just DYING to know what that back cover has on it? 🙂
This is the coolest thing I think I’ve ever seen! So clever and so personalized. I totally want to do this for my husband’s birthday in October.

Corianna…my lips are SEALED!! 🙂 [lol} Seriously…totally blushing right now…even THINKING about telling your guys! When my OWN family saw it…..my little niece glanced at it (age 8) and then with a puzzled look on her face moved in for a closer look. I have never seen my sister-in-law move so fast! She snatched that magazine right up to hide it, took a closer look herself, and turned red as she doubled over with laughter.
Anyway….my suggestion would be to put something TOTALLY unexpected on the back cover…..makes it more fun!!

My son, a sports fanatic since birth, recently told me that he could hardly wait to be on front of a sports magazine. When I saw this post, I almost cried thinking of the things I could put in a magazine. He is only turning eleven and he so deserves this. Don’t be surprised if you get emails with questions! Thanks for the idea!

WOW I just loved this idea so much I’ve already got 16 pages in my man’s 30th birthday magazine, and haven’t even got any contributions yet – thanks for the great idea!

My man was turning 50 last year and though he never said anything directly I could tell that the hit his business had taken over the last couple of years was taking the “I should have been further along in my career than this.” toll.
He did NOT want a party and if fact for a short time he had considered spending his birthday alone. I was looking for something meaningful, supportive and inexpensive when I came upon this great magazine idea over on The Dating Divas.
I worked on it for about 4 months and it turned out GREAT! I asked current and past coworkers and friends as well as family and kids he had coached to simply compose something about him/for him and they responded beautifully with poems and stories that made him laugh and cry. He told me over and over it was absolutely the perfect gift. He said it made him feel like George Bailey in the last scene of It’s a Wonderful Life.
Now it is almost a year later, his business is on an upswing and we can afford for me to spend more on his gift, but it wouldn’t matter if I had millions, I doubt I will ever be able to give him anything more valuable that the magazine. It was perfect.
