I am a HUGE fan of Leap Frog toys. I love toys where imagination is the key, but I make an exception when I feel they are learning important skills. My son learned the alphabet from the Talking Words Factory. I’m sure you are familiar with the catchy tune, “The A says aaaaa, the A says aaaa every letter makes a sound the A says, aaaaaa.”
I do have two favorites so far and I found them both on sale for great prices with Super Saver Shipping (free if your total is $25.00 or more) on Amazon! Just click on the links below.
The magnetic fridge toy that goes with the DVD’s to reinforce the alphabet.
The Leapster. This also has a good assortment of games that go with it. And you can even get it PINK!
What are your favorite Leap Frog toys?

I second the comment on the Letter Factory. My son new all the alphabet letters and sounds at 18 months. My pediatrician was blown away. It’s all thanks to the Letter Factory!

My twin 17 month old boys point to the DVD player in our car every time they are in their car seats because the Letter Factory DVD is in the player and they LOVE it!

We have many Leapfrog Toys and My kids LOVE them ALL! I don’t know that you can go wrong with them. My 7 yo’s favorite is his Didj (a leapster for big kids, but not a DS) I like it because we can connect it to the computer and input his spelling words, math level, reading level etc. He gets to play a game, but has to answer questions to advance levels or WIN! He has actually picked up quite a bit from it. My 5 yo loves his Leapster – enough said.. and my 2 yo daughter (actually all of my kids still enjoy these)baby Tad & Lily, the phonics radio (very much a favorite of them all -STILL!) Letter factory DVD, fridge letters… I seriously could go on and on! I think I really like the fact is that they all LAST! Some of ours have survived 7 years of use and they keep going!

I am jumping on the Kudos Band Wagon for the letter factory. My two year masted the alphabet quickly. Now when we go to places like Home Depot or Wal-Mart, he thinks it is fun to see letters from the Letter Factory! LeapFrog got it right!
