I feel like I’ve been living in yoga pants and lounge sets for a year.
I guess, for the most part, I HAVE!
Life has started to pick up a little bit.
April has been SO busy as my kids have started back in sports and we’re seeing more in person events.
That means, it’s time for my wardrobe game to pick up a little bit too!
Some of my most favorite Spring wardrobe finds have been found at Walmart. I’ve been so impressed by their selection lately! Tons of fun, quality finds that fit well and don’t break the bank. Walmart has free shipping on purchases $35+ and many items ship in only 2 days. I recently discovered that returning things you purchase online is super easy too! You can just ship back many of them at no cost. Love that!
I’m usually a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal, but when things start heating up, I love a good dress. Dresses/skirts are so versatile. You can mix and match them with anything from sneakers and a graphic tee to a linen blazer and heels. One simple dress or skirt can have SO many different looks!
I recently found a few favorites at Walmart and wanted to share them, along with a few others I’m eyeing!
1. Scoop Floral Dress
This dress is such a beautiful piece and you can feel and see the quality. The design is subtle, but whimsical. I love the square neck and the working buttons down the front. I grabbed a size medium (Pretty true to size for me) and felt the fit was just right. Not so snug I’m having to suck in non stop, but still slim fitting enough to be flattering.
It’s a lightweight material – perfect for the heat.
One reason in particular I love it so much is due to the fact you can pair it with just about anything.
Throw on a denim jacket or a blazer like this white, linen version, and you totally change the look of the dress!
This is a simple cotton dress, with a little pizazz. I love just being able to throw it on without having to worry about layers or anything hanging out. The oversized dolman sleeve is flattering on all body types (carried in sizes up to XXL), and I like the smocked waist band. The higher waist gives the illusion of a waist line, and for women like me, that are more straight up and down, it helps! I just noticed there was a restock on a lot of different colors, including a brighter coral color that I’m crushing on HARD!
3. A Midi or Maxi tiered floral skirt
We’re seeing a lot of the tiered or pleated style skirts hitting the shelves this season. These are so airy and scream “SPRING!”, but they’re also very fun to style. Don’t be afraid to pair with a funky band tee, or just a plain tee for a more casual vibe. These slip on platform sneakers also dress DOWN the look so you’re ready to run errands or hit the park. I also love it paired with a more military style denim tunic jacket!
Side note on this denim jacket. I have been wearing this nonstop. I love that it has a longer length with a more oversized fit. For me, it fit a lot more comfortable than my more fitted denim jackets. I also paired it the other night with this band tee and some leggings. LOVED the vibe.
My specific skirt has beautiful smocking that is very flattering to that lower tummy area. It’s sold out in most sizes (I’ll keep my eyes open for a restock), but this longer blue version is fantastic too. I also snagged a similar midi skirt with a pleated style and I’m loving it as well. The pink floral version is so pretty and vibrant.
BONUS: I know we’re talking YOUR Spring wardrobe, but don’t forget to give the kids some attention too. I found the most darling set for my 5 year old daughter. The quality is awesome, and I feel like it is a little throw back to the early 90’s.
It comes in sizes 4-18 and also comes in a solid color. It’s just darling and light and breezy for Summer!

My favorite lines for women include Scoop, Free Assembly and Time and Tru.
For my kids, I’m loving Wonder Nation! All are affordable, stylish options for the changing seasons and beyond!
