It’s the little things. Little simple things that come from the heart. They make all the difference. No amount of money spent on a gift can replace small simple acts of love. I know, I know. It sounds so cheesy. But you and I know, it’s true. Here are a few simple ways to say ‘I Love You’ while serving up a dish for a special someone. The best part is they take little to no prep time.

One of my favorite (last minute) additions to a plate is accomplished by simply cutting out a heart shape on a piece of paper……..
Open it up. Lay it on whatever food, cover open heart with whatever food compliments the dish,…lift,…and spread some love! 🙂
1.This morning I used this method to sprinkle some powdered sugar on my little guy’s french toast,…
{Gosh I love him. I hope he can tell}…
2. And for lunch I used the same method for his corn dog condiments. {I swear we don’t always eat junk} 😉…
3. I try to keep a tray full of ice cube hearts in my freezer. Perfect addition to a lunch, or just to bring to your husband while watching TV.
4. Another fun beverage idea is to use Coffee or Hot Chocolate and add Creamer to make Heart Art!

9. How about this adorable snack idea from BrownPaperPackages.
10. and if you cut an apple at just the right angle, you can make a heart.
11. And of course dinner. Why does this heart noodle make me laugh?! I like it!
12. Don’t forget to serve with an easy heart shaped napkin. Tuck in a little nice note,…or a naughty one! ;)The point is,…Food is shape-able!!! The possibilities are endless. Grab one of our ideas, or come up with your own. -Remember its the little things that make someone feel loved.
