Ruffles ruffles everywhere! I’ve been spotting this adorable trend all over blog world.
1. I had to get in on the fun and give Char’s famous Ruffle Butt Onesie a try. DIY ruffle projects are easier than they appear! What a relief for me {the girl who usually only attempts square projects}.
{Ya, I know. Three very similar pictures,…I couldn’t just limit myself to one! These are my baby girls’ tooshes we are talking about here! You are lucky I narrowed it down to only three! } 😉
Here are some other inspiring ruffle projects and tutorials:
2. Playing off the Ruffle Butt Onesie, TherapeuticCrafting came up with adorable Tuxedo Lacey Butt Onesie Tutorial.

6. Another T-shirt repurposed to a ruffle scarf by VermillionRules.
7. MadeByLex created a Valentino inspired Ruffle Clutch {gorgeous} using old sweats.

9. LivingWithLindsey even created ruffle shoes!
10. Char from CrapIveMade also created this gorgeous ruffle pillow…
11. One more great ruffle pillow tutorial from FloralShowers.
And two last inspirational pictures to make your jaw drop. Thanks to Ashley from Ashley Ann Photography. Yes she made them!{Her ruffle butt onesies so just trumped mine, huh?! That’s why I put mine first! ;)}
Whew. So much to do,…so little time! 😉

These are darling ideas! Have you ever checked out http://www.rufflesandstuff.com/ ? It’s a cute blog by a very inspired girl named Disney and she is all about Ruffles, and fun things girly, as well as other stuff thrown into the mix. I love her ideas and can’t wait to implement a bunch of them into a little girl room redo that is coming up here around our house.

Ok, I am sure that you also made the hair accessories for the girls… tell me, where do you get your supplies?!?! I had a VERY LOW MAINTENANCE little boy first and now I have a girl and need girly things!!!! Do advise. 🙂 Oh, and my sewing machine will be cranking out a ruffle butt oh so soon!

I did make their humungo flower headbands. I love ’em big. I get flowers from Michaels, Jo-Anns and sometimes even the dollar store. Pop a center in them (also Michaels or Joanns), and put them on an alligator clip. I buy my clips from Sally’s beauty supply. Clip them on a headband (those were black knee high tights) and vwlah! 🙂 -Make sure you send a picture our way of your ruffle butt onesie! We’d love to see it!

I just retired from 27 years of teaching. In my first life, before I went to work at the age of 35,I crafted and sewed for my daughters, family, friends, etc.
I now have time to explore great websites through Pinterest.
HowDoesShe? is a great sourch of inspiration to help me return the world of crafting & sewing!

I Have two 14 year old granddaughters. The one is finially being baptized at Easter vigil and the other is finially making her First Holy Communion on may 19th with the 2nd graders. The granddaughter being baptized is going to wear the traditional, white, poofy, sleeveless, top of the knees baptism dress and matching bonnet with lace anklets and white mary jane shoes. She will wear the traditional sleeveless undershirt with the cloth baptismal diaper and rubberpants over it under her dress.I made her a white, satin cover with ruffles across the back to wear over the diaper and rubberpants so she will look cuter. The other granddaughter is going to wear the communion dress and veil with the lace socks and white shoes and she will have a tee shirt with white rubberpants under her dress just like the little girls wear.I sewed white lace on the waist and leg openings of the rubberpants so they will be more little girlish for her under her dress.

Our 15 year old daughter just made her First Holy Communion on June 4th in the class of 2nd graders. Her communion dress was above the knees and her great aunt gave her a pair of white ruffled rubberpants to wear under her dress. They looked very cute and little girlish under her dress!
