Go Bold! 6 Fun Color Trends for Spring
Color #1: Macaron Yellow
Macaron yellow is a beautiful light yellow and it’s one of this spring’s hottest colors. From handbags to dresses like this pretty flare dress, this color is feminine and flattering. Grab this dress for a spring garden party or Easter brunch.
Nothing says sunny and approachable better than these playful capris. The macaroon yellow is so lovely, yet not overpowering and these are such a fun addition to your spring and summer wardrobe! Wear them to the kids school talent show or a beautiful spring picnic.
Color #2: Coral Rose
There’s a right way to wear color and this chic dress gets all the gold stars. Stunning, right? I love it in Coral, but there are NINE lovely spring colors to choose from! Rock the workplace, a spring wedding, or church. Pair it with the pumps below and you’ve just made a HUGE impression.
I’m loving all these new releases at JCPenney right now, including this peek-a-boo swimsuit that brings ALL the vacation vibes. The color is a cross between coral and pink, thus: coral rose, and it’s flattering on every body type. Grab this one up in your size before it’s gone!
Color #3: Placid Blue
Placid means calm, peaceful, or in other words: chill. So placid blue is that chill blue that fashionistas love for spring because it’s calm, cool, and collected. I love this jacket because it brings a much-welcome pop of color to the typical blazer. I would wear it with my favorite pair of high waist jeans and a simple white t-shirt. Mmm…perfection!
Add a subtle matching placid blue accent with this delicate genuine stone band. Hey, the small details matter! And this pretty ring comes in six beautiful colors too. (I love how small it is.)
Color #4: Blush
Prom is right around the corner and bodycon dresses are pretty much all the girls are wearing. And this spring, the trending color is blush–a lovely medium pink with a hint of golden tan. Watch for blush shoes, clutches, fashion, and accessories and if you have a high schooler going to prom this year, this dress is a STEAL!
Speaking of blush pumps, these new stilettos are a must! I love shoes that go with everything and these ones do exactly that. Pair them with jeans and a blazer for a polished look, or with a lovely spring dress.
Color #5: Pink, pink, pink
Let your shoes do all the talking. When it’s time to go bold, go bold and don’t look back. These heeled sandals remind me vacationing to beach resort and while they do come in black and nude, it’s my strong opinion that you gotta go bright pink!
Chino shorts are a warm weather staple and I love these ones that come in all kinds of colors. When it comes to spring fashion, a soft pair of pink Chinos says summer without screaming it. And these ones are such a great deal at JCPenney right now!
Pink is one of my favorite spring colors because there are so many different shades of it. From soft to bright, you can’t go wrong with pink, pink, and more pink. These playful wedges are PERFECT for stepping out this spring and summer. And so versatile too–you can wear them with shorts, jeans, a skirt, you name it. And unlike heels, they’re much easier to walk in.
Color #6: Lilac
The last color trend to look for this spring is the lovely shade of lilac. It’s a very soft purple that is reminiscent of mountain flowers and aren’t these trousers fun? Break away from plain black with a sophisticated work pant that is insanely fashion-forward. Delightful!
So look for these trending colors and more bold color pops at JCPenney this month and in the months leading up to summer and add a few fun pieces to your wardrobe. It’s going to be a lovely spring!
