Countdown to Christmas with Reading

Advent calendars are a forever popular way to countdown to the big holiday! We started a tradition in our family which has become a wonderful and educational experience.

Maybe you do something like this in your house too? 

On Dec. 1 (or, real talk here….whenever I remember….) I wrap 25 books and put them under the tree. Each night, the kids get to pick one “present” and we read it as a family. It’s become one of the most memorable traditions here!
