Sniff. Sniff. SNIFF. Pumpkin Roll, Home Sweet Home, Satin Sheets, Snowberry,…. just to name a few of my favorites. Do you know what I’m talking about?! If you guessed Scentsy, you are RIGHT!! Smells have always held a special place in my heart. They register memories of holidays, summer fun, and sweet family moments. I have always liked Scentsy, but now I am deeply and madly in love with it. I had the unique opportunity to attend a Scentsy blogger event. Words won’t do this company justice, but I am going to give it a good try.
The Scentsy event was held in Boise, ID. Boise is “home sweet home” to me. I am temporarily living in a different state while my husband is in grad school. So it was very very fitting when I walked into my hotel room, and Scentsy had my very favorite smell, “Home Sweet Home”, in a warmer for me. I could have cuddled up with a book and been content for days, and days, and days…
That evening I met with Scentsy executives, and some of my favorite bloggers.
I finally got to meet my sweetest blogging friend, Cindy, from Skip to My Lou. She also runs my favorite bake supply shop Sweet Baking Supply. Yes you can get those famous GOOGLY eyes there! 🙂
This was the whole blogging group. Do you notice some of your favorite bloggers in there?
Cindy’s hair 😉 {Skip to My Lou}, Kami {No Biggie}, Tenielle {Fiesty, Frugal, & Fabulous}, Kari {U-Create}, Me {HowDoesShe}, Shelley {The House of Smiths}, Juliette {Juicy Stuff}, Brooke {All Things Thrifty}, Amy {The Idea Room}, Heather {Whipperberry}.
I actually got to see where Scentsy all started. Yep. In this old broken down train car.
Back then, they were mixing waxes and oils in a crockpot.
Let’s just say it’s come a LONG way since then. 😉
We attended an actual Scentsy party. I love how casual and laid back they are. Every single party I have been to is food, fun, and smelling. Cute Lindsey from Boise was the sweetest host.
Did you know they have new perfume sticks?! Ahhhh!
The next morning we were able to tour Scentsy’s corporate headquarters and meet the inspiring couple who started it all, Orville and Heidi Thompson. They were so sweet to meet with us and tell us their story. Take the time to read it. Really. It’s amazing.
Then we received SMELL training. 🙂 Yes there is such thing, and actually it’s VERY important! It’s amazing how much goes into creating the scents we love. A little dash of this, and a little dash of that. It was incredible.
I can truly say I stand by Scentsy’s products. 100%. Scentsy bars and Scentsy products are nothing but top quality. Oh,… and if you have a Scentsy warmer in your home, be proud. After learning how much love and care goes into each hand crafted warmer, I wanted to go home and hug mine.
The company has grown rapidly, and every last Scentsy Employee claimed they had the best job ever. {After hearing that, I was totally trying to network for my husband. Ha. We ARE going back to Boise, someway, somehow, someday…}
Basically, it was an amazing experience. Scentsy, thank you for having me. And as for all of you, I am totally curious, do you have a favorite Scentsy scent?

Just one favorite? Nope!! I love Hemmingway, Home Sweet Home, Luna, Clean Breeze, Festival of Trees… Yup, loved them so much I had to join!

I have an apple cider like one melting right now. MMMM.
Looks like you had fun! Thanks for stopping by to see me after, it was so good to see you and chat – hope you make it back to Boise soon!

one of my favorites is discontinued: Orange Autumn Spice. My mother-in-law creates a pot of scents during christmastime that simmers on her kitchen stove. OH, it is so good! And this scent mimics it exactly! They brought it back as a throwback scent in July. I hope I get a chance to stock up again. It is definitely Number 1 for me!

It’s hard for me to choose one favorite, but My Wish and Luna are definitely faves. Also, Pumpkin Marshmallow (September SOTM) and Sentimental Cider are my faves for fall. I become a consultant almost two months ago and have so much FUN sharing this product with others!

Easy!! Central Park Praline…I could have it going all year round, but now that I’ve read Beth’s Honey Pear Cider and Mary’s Pumpkin Marshmellow…it makes me wish there was a Scentsy party going on here so I could smell them all!!

I am a Scentsy Consultant and I have never been able to pick just one favorite. I walk into my Scentsy Room (yes I have an entire room and my husband built me a “store” in it) and I find a new favorite everyday and every party and with every customer! I am a Scentsy Addict!

I have a few different favorites: Black Raspberry Vanilla, Honey Pear Cider (current fav in my warmer!), and Clean Breeze! I also like Home Sweet Home!
Kacie says
My favorite smell was winter wonderland. They discontinued it but added whiteout. Which smells exactly the same to me! It’s peppermint, pine, and apple. For the whiteout smell, they added the apple. But, I didn’t notice a difference.

I’m a newer Scentsy consultant and am LOVING at least a dozen of their scents. Thanks so much for posting this! Do you mind if I link it on my FB page?
Did you know you can mix and match your scents to create custom ones? For a fall one, try mixing Pumpkin Marshmallow & Mochadoodle for a Pumpkin S’mores.
If you all have discontinued favorites, you can vote to bring them back for the month of January 2012. Voting closes on October 28th, so get over there! 🙂
