I don’t know about you, but shopping for teens can be difficult! We’re not ALWAYS on the same page when it comes to style or cost. So, when I hit a home run, I feel like it’s my female duty to tell others!

I remember one particular time when I had an extra $20 (I was VERY broke in college.) and decided to buy myself a new shirt for an upcoming event. I took that $20 and headed straight to “The Rack” as we called it. I knew back then, I could get exactly what I wanted on a budget without sacrificing style.
The same story exists today.

And if mom AND teen can find something there? You know you’re winning!

Many youthful dresses don’t always fit mom’s definition of “tasteful”. We both agreed that this dress was absolutely darling, but very classic and tasteful as well.
From the flutter sleeve to the contrasting tiers, it was a hit!

Speaking of shoes, we hit a home run on some Summer options that were trendy enough for her, but comfy enough for me. (Yes, sometimes we share!)

Another fabulous athletic layering option for your teen (or, let’s be honest, YOU) is this cropped bra tank!
Whether worn alone, or layered under a jacket, it’s a supportive option that still allows for movement while providing breathability.
Running shorts
Anyone that tells you all running shorts are created equal is totally fibbing!
They’re definitely NOT! So, when my active daughter found these, she was thrilled.
They have built in stretch, knit liners that keep everything in the right place and also prevent chafing!
Plus, the waistband has a drawstring so when you’re really moving fast, you can be sure to cinch them up and prevent slippage! 
Hoka Running Shoes
Now that she has supportive athletic clothing, let’s get those feet some support.
I’m going to go out on a controversial issue and just state: Hokas are the most comfortable athletic shoe on the market right now!
