Need an excuse for Ice Cream?
Who doesn’t, I say!
Most people probably prefer sugar cones, but for some reason I love the plain, cheap, cardboard ones. Can’t explain it.
The best part is you can load it as tall as you want, all for the same price! You should see some of the towers I have created, it’s a little embarrasing, really. I went easy on this one as it was for a little tyke, but you can see it is still almost falling over. I hurry and bit the top off after I took this picture before we lost it to the 10 second rule that does NOT apply to ice cream!
If you do not have a Maverik fetish as I do, gather all your favorite toppings and invite people over to share the love – a perfect party idea just in time for spring break!
If you do go to Maverik, tell them I said Hi!

Hi, yeah. I used to get a cone EVERY DAY. No kidding. When I was in high school, that is what we ate for lunch. A giant cone and maybe some of their yummy rolls. Mmmmm… oh and I also had a Maverik Frozen Yogurt machine at my wedding reception. Did I mention I love the stuff? Yeah…

I didn’t even know that maverik had an ice cream machine. I guess that’s what I get for always paying at the pump and never going inside…. maybe I should snag my husband one night and go get ourselves a bahama momma (I’ve heard these are really yummy) and yogurt cones.

Never even heard of them. Wish they would come to Louisiana. That surely does look yummy! I do however love the vanilla cones at Sonic.

YUM!!! Those of you who live in Utah, try Nielsen’s frozen custard – the raspberry rocks! There’s a new casual restaurant in Bountiful and Salt Lake City, “Mo’ Bettah Steaks,” that has REAL Hawaiian shave ice – even with the ice cream at the bottom. I know, that’s a whole OTHER topic!!

Nielson’s is a MUST HAVE if you’re in Utah! This is a staple whenever my family drives through. Can’t go without it, it’s SOOOOO GOOD!

I’ve been hitting Maverik for their frozen yogurt lately too– even if it is still snowing here (Wyoming). It makes it feel like spring! They had a Buy 8 Get One Free card too!! Only have 2 more punches to go until my free one!!! :o)

Ha! I hope I catch you in there one day. I want to see your ice cream twirling skills!

Oh, I lived in Rexburg Idaho for school for a couple of years & LOVED the idea of cheap, cheesecake, frozen yogurt!!! I wish we had that in Canada!!!
