My friend Stacy told me about hot chocolate heaven at Maverik. Yes, you read that right – Maverik. I know you can go to your local coffee shop and get this goodness, but did you know you can get it at your local gas station? After you fill your cup, you can pick from all kinds of different flavored creams to put in it. As if I needed help with my hot chocolate addiction! I look forward to mine first thing in the morning when I wake up and get out of my warm bed, it’s a good reason why I get out of bed in the first place. So what am I supposed to do, tromp in my pajamas to Maverik before the sun is awake? I think not. This is all your fault, Stacy! I was fine with my little mixes but now I can’t bear to just nuke my water and add mix anymore. I want the frothy, well-mixed, flavored yumminess at Maverik. She did also mention a little contraption called a COCOMOTION that is now on my Christmas Gift List. I have never tried one, but if it does what the reviews say it does, it might be close enough to my heaven at Maverik. I hope, I hope, I hope!
So, to celebrate hot chocolate here are some fun links I found that relate…
hot chocolate on a stick from Giver’s Log – she has a step by step process that makes it look easy!
Ultimate Hot Chocolate recipe from Our Best Bites – I can’t see failure with the ingredients they use. Sweetened condensed milk? mmm.
Fabric Cup Cozy from Little Birdie Secrets. Now you can drink your heaven and look good doing it! They have a great tutorial on how to make these.
Do you have any heavenly recipes to share or experience with the Cocomotion? Please share!
p.s. I know the first picture is of a steamer, but to me it is all the same – flavored, creamy, yummy!

Cocomotions are the bomb.com! I use mine every morning. If you throw in a few mint marshmallow peeps in there while it mixes you get the perfect amount of mint and mallow flavor mixed in to your chocolate!!!

Does anyone have an extra good dry mix recipe for hot chocolate? Something that tastes similar to Stephens? I’m trying to do my own, but make it good enough that my husband and kids will drink it too! The last batch I did tasted a little too healthy…

Woo Hoo! The Mav hot chocolate secret is out! I would have to say that my favorite mix is the hot coco mixed with a squirt of vanilla and one squirt of hazelnut! DIVINE! I got my mom the cocomotion machine for Christmas…you can get a knock off version at Bed Bath and Beyond for $24 if you use a 20% off coupon! I hope you get your machine for Christmas Missy…if not I’ll be seeing you over at Maverik!

I love my cocoamotion too! A few Christmas’ ago when family came to visit, I set up a HOT CHOCOLATE BAR using my cocomotion (crockpots work well too)
But next to my handy dandy machine, I had the mugs placed all cute on a platter w/ different decorative bowls filled with mini marshmallows, candycanes, crushed Heath candy bars, cinnamon to sprinkle ect. ect.
Everyone LOVED it!
