The Nailbot, invented by Preemadonna, prints custom nail art, pictures, your own art, and emojis directly onto your fingernails from your smartphone within 5 seconds! I just have to tell you a little bit about the dynamic gals who invented this – Pree Walia & Casey Schulz. Simply amazing.
Pree has a business and political background and MBA from the University of Chicago. Casey is a robotics wizard working with NASA Ames and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory! Amazing and inspiring, am I right? They put their heads together and created this sensational beauty device. But what I love the most is that they didn’t stop there. The inventors behind this innovation are also teaching our daughters how to build and program their own printers and design digital nail art through their Ambassador program and partnerships with tech camps and Girl Scout Councils. THIS IS OUTSTANDING! This makes my heart all kinds of happy.
Why?
I have four daughters – ranging in ages from nine to fifteen.
You can imagine how often the nail polish comes out in our family. Obviously my daughters and their friends will LOVE the Nailbot and I will have one of these in our house – not just because my girls will love to print emojis and pics on their nails, but because the product is part of a bigger girl power movement. The ladies behind this company are showing my girls that being smart and feeling beautiful are not a contradiction, and they are inspiring their minds and imaginations to create awesome art and even build our own printer! We are trying so hard, in our family, to empower our daughters and teach them that they can accomplish their dreams with hard work and dedication. I love that this company promotes that in a way that is also completely awesome and cool. With so many “beauty” companies out there (you know the ones), it is so refreshing to see that this company is different – they aren’t immediately going to the beauty stores – they are working with Girl Scouts and tech summer camps! This makes my heart happy. It’s a movement – the is the device that will show my daughters if you can dream it, you can build it.
Okay, I know you want the details.Can I get a “WAHOO”!? The Kit comes with the robot, cartridge (lasts for 5,000 manicures – seriously), special pre-print polishes, white polish (you can use any base polish – but they recommend white or beige to really make the art pop). The art is easily removed from your nails with traditional nail polish remover! Done, done, and done!
