Some of you may or may not know that I’m an avid scrapbooker. I have been for YEARS! In the last 6 years, though, I have been primarily documenting my family’s story using the Project Life® system developed by Becky Higgins. It has simplified my life in amazing ways – I’m hooked!! Last year, I had the amazing opportunity to be on Becky’s creative team, and I fell in love with Project Life® even more.
While discussing my upcoming volunteer expedition with Becky, she planted the idea in my brain of designing a digital pocket page kit where the proceeds would benefit the charity. I thought that was a brilliant idea and went right to work!
I’d like to introduce the Kids Hope Digital Pocket Page Kit!
I designed this card kit to support an amazing organization that is operated out of my own town, Medicine Hat, Alberta. It is called Kids Hope Ethiopia (Canadian Humanitarian in Canada) and it is a charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children the world over. They are currently concentrating their efforts in Ethiopia, Uganda, and Malawi. They help hundreds of vulernable, poverty-stricken children realize their potential in life by supporting them in school with tuition, uniforms, and books and ensuring success in life with a hot meal a day, tutors, medical care, extracurricular clubs, and support for the family at home. It is amazing to see the ways these kids’ lives are changed. In a word, this organization gives them HOPE.
I am fundraising to serve on a humanitarian expedition there, as well as to raise funds for their programs. To learn more about my expedition and the wonderful work Kids Hope does, check out my post here:
When I was designing these cards, I had the kids my husband met in their programs in mind. They are such vibrant, colorful souls and I wanted the cards to reflect that. I used bright, bold colors and fun designs that can be used for any age, any gender, any time. They are versatile and fun!
You will receive 70 different cards – a huge variety to work with – including 3X4 filler cards, 3X4 journaling cards, and several 4X6 options as well! I know you’ll get lots of use out of these. Here are a couple of pages I whipped up (in minutes!) using Becky Higgins digital Project Life® templates:
Many of the designs also work great with the square templates:
*Please note that this is a digital download only – no physical product will be sent to you.*
Thank you for your support in purchasing this kit – the proceeds will be helping kids in their programs in Ethiopia, Malawi, and Uganda, and will make a real difference. If you’ve got a few minutes, take the time to watch this short documentary on the work they do. It’s very informative and will pull at your heart strings:
Please know that every purchase makes a difference – I’m donating 100% of the proceeds to their organization. Your support means the world to me, and to these kids. There are lots of ways to get involved in helping as well – they are always looking for volunteers to go on service expeditions, people to become child sponsors, and they hold a variety of fundraising events all over North America. Definitely check them out!

dear Bobbi Jo,
Thank you so much for this beautiful kit. We are int he process of adopting from Ethiopia and it is a beautiful way to prepare our son’s adoption journey book. My daughters and I watched the video and we were very moved. We will keep this organization in our prayers and look to funding them in the future as well. Thank you for bringing this to light and the donation of your time and talent!

Bobbi – I couldn’t be happier to buy this kit. I spent a lot of time in East Africa in and after college for development projects. It’s a place, a situation, and a cause close to my heart. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this kit!!
