Easy Strawberry Pie

It’s strawberry season and what could be better than a fresh easy strawberry pie? This pie is so easy and quick to whip up, it was the best spring treat for the family! Would you like the details? Check out the how to video to see how simple it is!

Recipe:
Start with your pie crust already baked. I used a refrigerated pie crust, but you could also use this recipe. Seriously it’s perfect.

Ingredients

5 cups fresh strawberries

1 cup water

1 cup sugar

3 0z. box of Strawberry Jell-O

3 tablespoons of cornstarch

Bake pie crust according to directions. Combine water, sugar and cornstarch in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Whisk until it becomes thick. Whisk in Jell-O powder and cook for 1 minute. Let this mixture cool. Pour strawberries into pie crust. Pour cooled glaze into the pie crust. Pour glaze over strawberries. Refrigerate.

I had no idea how easy and delicious this pie would be! I should have made it long ago. The kids came home from school and ate it right up. I’d call that a mom win!
