This recipe is a procrastinator’s dream recipe! It would be the perfect gift to make for anyone you want to send a little love to. And you can make it in 15 minutes!!! Crazy right?
First off, in case you don’t believe easy fudge or essential oil fudge can be dreamy…know that I am a bit of a fudge snob…and this stuff passed my taste test with FLYING colors!
Jennifer, who is always teaching me more and more uses for essential oils, photographed the process for you. The original recipe came from Greg Allen…thank you Jennifer and Greg! The secret ingredient is orange essential oil. It is not overpowering at all, just a subtle orange flavor that compliments the chocolate perfectly. Note: We at HowDoesShe love essential oils!

I’m assuming it’s okay to use a double-boiler for this recipe since I don’t use/have a microwave? It looks easy/yummy!

I made this fudge a few days ago and it was the best fudge I have tasted! I couldn’t believe that such a quick and simple recipe could taste so rich and chocolatey. A few minutes to weigh things (I’m in the UK so I had a few minutes converting cups) a couple of minutes in the microwave, mix and set in the fridge. It made quite a lot too! I didn’t add orange oil as I didn’t have any but it was still delicious and didn’t last long at all once everyone had a taste!

Oh good! I am so glad you liked it. Thanks for taking the time to let us know how it turned out!

I don’t ingest essential oils. Would this be ok with the cooking extracts or something else added?
Beth says
Do you know how long the fudge keeps?

Good morning instead of orange can you add peppermint and how many drops could I use?
