You are going to LOVE this… Welcome back Fancy Farmgirls!
———————————
I need to get married again! I’ll keep the same guy but oh if I could do it again… I am still convincing my kids and reminding myself that those big poofy sleeves really were in style! I will give you a peek of what my wedding reception “redo” would look like. This is a shabby chic barn wedding “Fancy Farmgirl” style!
This time we teamed up with Kathleen of kathleenweddings.com. We have been painting and sanding and she has been working her wedding planner magic. Kathleen used sawhorses, old doors, old windows, mismatched chairs, and mixed in some Fancy Farmgirl pieces to create a frugal, and oh so glamorous barn wedding.
Yes those are sawhorses and yes that is a door… genius!
I wouldn’t mind looking like the bride in my “re-do” either.
Thank you Jared Hodges for sharing the wedding pics with us.
You may not have a wedding in the near future but you can still get your shabby “fix” at our Fancy Farmgirl Sale. It’s that time again!
We have a barn full of shabby goodness, refurbished furniture, home décor, and so much more! So grab your girlfriends, grab your trucks and come on out to see us at the barn!

It takes a lot of work to pull off ‘effortless chic’ like this – you did a gorgeous job!
PS. Am I reading those dates right? Met to married in exactly five months?! I want to hear more about THAT story!
Stacey says
I was thinking the same thing…5 months!! And, I want to see pictures of the sleeves!!

Before I even clicked on the photos I was thinking “if I was getting married today… this is how I’d love to do it!” Then I read your words saying much the same thing. I guess we can dream! If I were within 50 miles, I would be there this weekend but, alas, I am two states away. It is fun knowing that others love some of the same things that I do!
